Securities Businessperson (Stock Broker, Securities Dealer and Market Maker) Regulations, 2064 (2008) In exercise of the power conferred by Section 116 of Securities Related Act, 2063 (2007), Securities Board of Nepal has, upon the approval of the Government of Nepal, made the regulations as follows. In the latest financial report, Nepal's commercial banks have demonstrated a range of performances in key financial metrics. The data highlights net profit, earnings per share (EPS), return on equity (ROE), book value, distributable profit, and distributable EPS for 19 banks. This comprehensive analysis provides valuable insights into the financial health and dividend potential of these institutions. In the current fiscal year, half a dozen commercial banks are not in a position to distribute dividends to shareholders. According to the unpublished financial details of the last fiscal year disclosed by the banks, the distributable profit of 4 banks is negative, and some banks are also unable to distribute dividends due to not making capital reserves in the previous fiscal year.
